YardOS

Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

YardOS is a dealer management system run by No Problem (noproblem.com.au) for car dealerships and wholesalers in Australia. This policy covers the YardOS web app at yard-os.app.

Who uses YardOS

YardOS accounts are created only by invitation from a business that uses it. The business decides what customer, vehicle and sales information it keeps in YardOS; we hold that information on its behalf.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number and role in your business.
  • The records your business keeps: enquiries, contacts, vehicles, purchases, sales, files and notes.
  • Basic usage and security logs (sign-ins, errors).

Google accounts

You can sign in with Google, and you can choose to connect your Google account so YardOS can work with your Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts. You switch each of these on separately, and you can disconnect at any time from your Account page or from your Google account settings.

  • Sign-in uses your name and email address to match you to your existing YardOS account. It never creates an account.
  • Gmail: YardOS reads only messages to or from email addresses already in your business's YardOS records, and saves those to the matching enquiry or contact so your team can see the conversation. It sends email only when you press Send in YardOS. It does not read, keep or analyse any other mail.
  • Google Calendar: YardOS adds the appointments you schedule in YardOS to the calendar you choose and keeps them up to date. It reads your events so they show alongside your YardOS schedule, and so meetings with your customers can be logged against their record.
  • Google Contacts: YardOS adds the customers you own in YardOS to your Google Contacts, under a "YardOS" label, and keeps their name, email and phone up to date. It does not read your other contacts.

YardOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the features above. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI or machine learning models. People can see it only where your business's YardOS records already give them access, or when you ask us for help with support.

Google access is stored encrypted. When you disconnect, YardOS revokes its access with Google and deletes the stored credentials.

Where information is kept

YardOS data is stored with Supabase (database, in Sydney) and Cloudflare (files and network), and the app runs on servers we manage. We do not sell personal information, and we share it only with these service providers, with your business, or where the law requires it.

Access, correction and deletion

Your business's admins can correct or delete its records in YardOS. To ask about your own information, or to make a complaint, email [email protected]. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
